LEHP WELCOMES OPTOMETRIST AT V5 DISTRICT CONVENTION

During the V5 District Convention in Tatura, LEHP District Chair and Ambassador Carol Smith invited local optometrist Mark DePaola (from Graham Hill and Associates in Shepparton) to participate in the LEHP-Australia information stand. The LEHP-Australia display operated over a 3 day period, generating great interest. A particular highlight was Mr DePaola's involvement between 10am and 2pm on the Saturday. During this time Mark showcased a Retinal Camera (on loan from the Centre for Eye Research Australia), which allowed conventioneers the opportunity to have their retinas photographed. Mark discussed the images taken and reminded participants about the importance of regular eye examinations.
