World Sight Day
World Sight Day is a global event that focuses on bringing attention on blindness and vision impairment. It is observed on the second Thursday of October each year.
To recongise World Sight Day and to encourage Australian's to participate in regular eye examinations Lions from across the country participate in a photo competition. A specially designed World Sight Day poster is sent to every Lions Club in Australia. There challenge is to get this poster and information out into their communities.
